How many years have you been in business? How have the trends changed? Have the buying habits of your customers changed? In what way?
We have been on the market for two years. We are already seeing a change in the purchasing behavior of customers and are very happy about it. We have the impression that people shop much more consciously and pay attention to sustainability.
In what manner is Don’t Grow Up a responsible, sustainable, and ethical brand?
We place great importance to high quality. Our fabrics are made from organic cotton and printed with organic inks. We do not use plastic packaging. We are a very small family business and work according to a special concept, namely that we produce the goods for the retailer in a small, Polish sewing company, and we sew ourselves for direct sales-so we don’t have to store goods that may not be sold and every centimeter of fabric is used.
What has been the inspiration for the current collection (AW20)?
We love children’s books and that’s where we find most of our inspiration. Our daughter’s drawings also inspire us a lot. We owe the idea and the look of the bananas from the upcoming collection to our daughter Franka.
How do you see the future of your brand?
We are planning an adult line from the upcoming collection and dream of a store in our city. We hope we can do it in the nearest future.
